Most noticeably, one of the parts sung by Jay Park has lyrics mentioning NewJeans and HYBE, particularly, “In a new t, new shoes, NewJeans minus HYBE”.
As NewJeans and their agency, ADOR, is currently facing against HYBE in a dispute, many believe that Jay Park’s lyrics are meant to show the rapper’s support for NewJeans and mocking HYBE, and interpreted the lyrics as saying NewJeans are better off without HYBE.
On SNS platforms such as X, many fans are rejoicing over the lyrics, saying, “Man doesn’t hold back”.
